My mailman (I call him the messenger because the Holy Spirit is working through him to share God's Word) shared an interesting thought with me about not knowing the day or hour that the LORD shall return.

He reminded me that the Feast of Trumpets is a 2-3 day festival in which the Jews never know the exact day or the hour that it starts, but they do know the season (or festival) in which it occurs. Sound familiar? My understanding is that they are to watch for the new moon and their year doesn't begin until the new moon is "full". Wow, anyone? God's depth and knowledge is soooooo wonderful. At the very least it encourages me to continue planting and to be ready every day.

Can anyone confirm this about Trumpets or send me to a website that may clear this up?

:yeah I watched it last nite and got really excited by it! Come soon Lord Jesus!:pray:pray:pray:pray

It was pretty obvious that Hadely was quite excited by his findings as well. What really brought tears to my eyes was his reference to the two brothers registering for baseball and the father's comment that he did not remember which son was adopted. That really touched my heart! Anyway,it was great to watch the prophecy update and I am filled with so much anticipation on the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Maranatha !:pray

Me too! I watched this last night, and I was touched at Steve's reaction. He has such a tender heart for the things of the Lord, doesn't he? What a fantastic pastor. The love of God just emanates from him. I feel touched every time he prays too...I feel the strength of his personal relationship with Jesus!

And the Purim connection was interesting as well. Time will tell if the Lord will choose to use these signs, or use others that we don't know about yet.
In any case, I'm ready and reeaaallly praying for those who aren't!!!

Info such as this has been in existence for quite awhile... and it is nice to see it coming to the forefront in these days. :)

Really? Where else have you heard this?

That is true - watch Pastor Ray Bentley's sermon with special guest Mark Biltz, who is a Messianic Jew. His website is www.maranthachapel.org

:yeah I love to listen to him. He gets as excited as I do. I have to call my parents, as just this weekend we were talking about the tabernacle, the AC's 'resurrection', the sacrifices, etc.

Thank you Lord Jesus for loving us the way you do. Thank you for calling Your pastor Steve Hadley to stir our hearts. Thank you for the joy we feel when we study Your Word. Amen

I'm referring specifically to how Daniel's "day-amounts" for the 70th week line up with significant dates on the Hebrew calendar (in certain sets of years)... which has been a particular area of study for me, especially over the past 15 years.
Pastor Steve is bold enough to speak of his recent discoveries, and I commend him for it. :)
Aside from the recent "blood moon tetrad" discovery for 2014/2015 (which is great, by the way), numerous folks have added a line here and there, over the years, building largely upon the discoveries recorded in the book by Edgar Wisenaut (sp?) about the "88 Reasons...", and so forth. While his "guess" did not come to pass, not all of his "reasonings" should have been discarded.
I believe Pastor Steve himself mentions Chuck Smith's teachings in the 80's on this subject, as well... which have been built upon since that time. "Here a little, there a little..." There are many...
I have too many resources to list here (nor would I recommend them here, in their entirety, due to some of their un-biblical conclusions... but bits and pieces, properly and biblically discerned, have been similarly "published" for awhile. For instance, the info about the "metatonic cycle of the moon" which fairly requires that the 7-year set of tribulation years begin only in certain years which contain 86 moons, rather than 87, over the span of 7 years... That is just a glimpse... Hope it helps. :) )

If the Second Coming does happen in 2015, we would have to be raptured like now. The last lunar eclipse in the tetrad is Sept 28, 2015. So, the Rapture would have to take place in under 2 months for Jesus to come back in 2015. I believe Isaiah 17 and Psalm 83 takes place before the Rapture and 7 yr trib. The Antichrist also has to make his appearance to confirm the covenant of Daniel 9:27 which starts the last 7 years. It doesn't look like there will be enough time for these events to take before Jesus can come back by Sept 28th 2015 at the last blood moon.

Just FYI, Atonement/Yom Kippur is Sept 23, 2015... and yes, Sept. 28, 2015 is the fourth of the "tetrad" on Tabernacles. Many folks confuse those dates. :)
