That means $4 gallon yesterday will be $4.50 Tomorrow.

IN ONE DAY!

I know I am filling up tonight! Oil has jumped over $11 in one day and trading has actually stopped because people are so upset.

I don't think the price will jump .50 a gallon at the pumps overnight, but if and when the price per barrel drops, the price at the pump will not fall as fast, in order to make up for the difference. Remember the price of oil is also reflected by the value of the dollar, the dollar drops the price of oil goes up-the dollar dropped again.

Could there be a run on the pumps creating a shortage due to the news:thinking

I'm not real sure how many people watch it closely enough to know that it jumped so high today. However, my husband got paid today and we are going to fill the rest of our gas cans and both cars today.

Gas always goes up in the summer, doesn`t it? Vacations and such? I can`t see it dropping much, if any, even if oil comes back down, which I don`t see, either. :(

Selling cars I can see the concern and we are absolutely seeing a run on small cars. Just sold another small car here today. Some dealers are refusing to take in SUVs or Large Pickups. It is all over CNN and FOX this drastic increase

I don't think so, supply doesn't seem to be the problem here.

Supposedly the price spiked b/c the dollar is tanking against the Euro, and because of Israel's threats to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities.

I am not running out to fill up the tank, the more we do that the more the market goes into flux. But this is only the beginning and were in for a long ride. I just pray for my brothers and sisters to keep their minds set on GOD and take one day-a-time. :hat We should also keep a close eye on our neighbors, family, friends and fellow sheep they may also need our help as things get worse. :hat
