Computer problems

Does anyone by any chance know where I can get a hold of MS access 2.0the 1993 version? I am having trouble with keystroke entries with my computer and it seems that it has become corrupt. I don't know any other way to fix this and feel that I have to wipe my computer clean but I have misplace the original access disc to reinstall the program. Thanks

I'd suggest you try ebay... Though that is an awfully old version.

thanks tall timbers. I was just checking on ebay and had no luck. Guess I will try copying the program on a new computer and then I will wipe my laptop completly clean and recopy it back on it and hope for the best.

It if is dos based that might just work... though I really can't remember back that far. I think it was with the dawn of windows that parts of the program would get intertwined with parts of the OS.

Why do you need such an old program?

I don't know if this would work, but you *might* have some success in opening your old Access documents in OpenOffice Base. Its a long shot, but its worth a try.
