The Lord be praised for providing me the opportunity to represent Apprising Ministries on TruNews Christian News Network as a guest of host Rick Wiles. I’m also pleased to tell you that one of the other guests was fellow Christian Research Net contributor Jon Sharp, pastor of The Way Christian Fellowship in McCamey, Texas as well as writer of its blog Living in the Way.

In addition to false prophet Todd Bentley and the demon-inspired Lakeland “Revival” we also discussed other important issues related to proper Biblical spiritual discernment to detect deception during the serious times in which we live.

Very interesting discussion. Thanks for the link. While listening I had to look up Todd's tattoo's, that he got SINCE he got "saved" - gross!

I received a retort from a "FELLOW BRETHREN" who says I am the one who needs to seek the Lord and His truth regarding my opinion and other's more learned than myself concerning this "revival". I am not going to post the links as he is a false teacher and prophet with deceptive signs and wonders and "another spirit".

Here is what I received:

You sent me an email about Todd Bentley being a false Prophet and when I read it I was a little disturbed. This man has been in my church and we have seen first hand the power and Glory of God through. Many people from my Church have gone down to Lakeland and said that it was an amazing time with the Lord.

I urge you to read the following letter from Todd and to also read the download the 55 page letter written by Gary Grieg. :doh Read them both on the bus. They are long.
But after reading it......I realize that I don't agree with your email and that I will go with what God has put in my heart to believe.
Yes, it is good to discern all of these signs and wonders in the latter days.......but we must always check out all sides of the argument before we take a stand on anything. 1 so we don't get fooled and second, so we don't miss out.

I had sent the email you sent me to a Todd Bentley believer and even she was feeling disturbed.....then she read what I'm sending you now.

You decide.....ask God to tell you what's right.

PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM TODD BENTLEY;

Greetings Partners and Friends!

His love is like the ocean…we’re drowning in His presence! The liquid honey glory cloud of His wonderful presence is in this place!

We’ve settled well into our new location in Lakeland, Florida—a clear span, air-conditioned structure that seats up to 10,000 people, located on the Sun-N-Fun Campground at the Lakeland airport. Many visitors to the outpouring are using the grounds: setting up tents, trailers, and RV’s. There’s plenty of room for you! I’d like to thank the countless volunteers who assisted us to make this move swift and effortless!

People continue to arrive hungry for the touch of God in their lives, to know Jesus better. Many are experiencing heart-transformations as they come to know the Miracle Maker and His ways! It’s incredible to see God revive, restore, renew, and radically transform hearts for Jesus! Bam! The Gospel power of God is at work here! God is making disciples! The magnitude of the blessings of God pouring into the hearts of people is off the Richter scale—over the top! I invite you to come and discover what it’s like to be in His presence, what it’s like to build a personal relationship with God, what it’s like to hear God, to experience God, to move in His power, and to see His purpose wrought in your own life.

This past week, I’ve written a letter ( Click Here ) that I hope will encourage and enlighten those who may have questions about what’s happening here in Lakeland because it’s my heart that none would miss the purpose of this great outpouring of God. As well, a free 55-page booklet, Biblical Reasons to Receive God’s Glory and Give it Away in Power Evangelism, by Dr. Gary Greig [this guy is emergent all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!] , a theologian and scholar, commenting on and addressing some of the objections and questions raised as a result of this outpouring, is available in PDF format for immediate download. I pray that these insights will encourage you that what is happening is biblical, and definitely God!
