A man arrested for preaching on a public sidewalk too close to the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia has been declared guilty of violating federal law. He was fined over $400 and put on probation, told not to go in Independence National Historical Park – or on its surrounding sidewalks – for a year.

Too bad he doesn't have religious freedom as the liberty bell promised. That bell ring just as loud as he is on preaching.

:tskThis sure isn't right. I thought our country was created for religious freedoms. They have some laws interperted backward, probably by the one's that are on the devil's side. :ohno

That is just crazy. I thought we had freedom of religion and free speech. Just a sign of things to come, I am afraid.

It was. But this isn't the same country any more. It isn't even the same country we were born in.

He was one of the Philadelphia 11 that got arrested for praying at a gay pride rally. I'm glad there are Christians out there with that kind of persistence.
