Many of you know hubby's health issues. He has had 4 mini strokes although the last one was more of a mild one then a mini. He has a tube coming out of his bladder along with his high blood pressure and stroke issues.
Yesterday, he was showering so we could go to Sunday School.
When he got out of the shower he was drying off and got dizzy and fell, head first in the floor. He called for help and sadly, I was too far from the bathroom, in the kitchen fixing breakfast for him. He finally was able to get up and came to the kitchen and he had a knot on his head and some scratches but he seemed okay and we left for Sunday School, me driving. Thank God I was able to get my drivers license back after 5 years of not driving. Anyway we were o the way to Sunday School when he started telling me he was seeing double.
This is what symptoms he had when he had his last stroke. So I pulled in the parking lot and had my Pastor pray for him.
Then I drove home and had my son drive us to the VA hospital. I am not driving on the freeway yet.
We spent about 4 hours at the VA. They did a cath scan on his head and there was no bleeding which would have been had there been a stroke and no head injury. Thank God everything was okay.
We are going to get a shower chair. We need one anyway because I walk with a cane and I could fall in the shower my self.
I praise God that He was with my husband and protected him.:thumb
