Did anybody else watch Loud Dobbs tonight?

He did a sphiel on how more up front the North American Union is becoming. So I jotted down some names while he was giving this report.

The first one is the North American Competitiveness Council
"At their 2006 Summit, the North American Leaders recognized that to accelerate progress under the SPP they would benefit from direct advice from the private sector. So business leaders from all three countries were encouraged to form the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC). In the United States, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Council of the Americas jointly serve as the Secretariat. The Canadian Council of Chief Executives (CCCE) serves as the Secretariat in Canada and the Instituto Mexicano para la Competitividad (IMCO) serves as the Secretariat in Mexico. http://www.uschamber.com/issues/index/international/nacc.htm

While reading the above, I came across this curious statement of Intellectual Property Action Strategy. Here's some stuff on this little deal here http://www.uschamber.com/issues/index/international/nacc.htm and this gives a more defined outlook of the program here http://www.spp.gov/pdf/spp_ip_strat_final.pdf I don’t know if they’re referring to pirated videos and music or knock-off Louis Vuitton purses:idunno

Long story short, they’re REALLY forging ahead with this union WITHOUT American’s say so or votes.

I saw part of that. They are being very open about it. As the Borg would say..... "Resistance is futile!!".

No one cares.

Between people being worn down from trials, and rampant apathy, nobody cares.

Most people don't even believe anything remotely like this is true.

I hope it's not true.

'They' are doing everything despite American's votes - look at California.

The people there voted NO to homosexual 'marriage'. Their courts said 'too bad for you - we're doing it anyway'.

There are Constitutional provisions for what the people are to do in these situations, but:

1. Most people don't know it.

2. Most people wouldn't care if they did.

3. The rest would be too afraid to do anything. (I'm in this group)

I think it has to happen in order for prophecy to go the way it ought. I could be wrong.

My family (parts of it) came here in the 1600's and fought & died to create this country. It makes me sad that they went through all that just so I could watch it die.

Some people will never admit this could happen and since they believe in their own minds this could never take place, the mere mention of the notion immediately is labeled "conspiracy therory ".

After the rapture this could literally happen overnight.

How do we know it won't happen before the rapture?

(I'm not saying that with 'tone', I'm serious)

I agree SW:nod. I see many people post responses to a lot of the "America is going down the tube" articles such as, "Glad we won't be here," or "Luckily we won't be around."

Though I agree believers won't be here for the 7 years of tribulation, I don't believe that really, really, REALLY bad things aren't going to happen prior to the tribulation...which we may very well be here to suffer.

i don't consider it a pure conspiracy theory, i could see it either way i guess... but its mixed up with so many of those, that its hard to separate it. some of the occasionally offered 'proofs' are rather ...wacky.... to put it politely

I hope you're wrong, but... yeah. I don't understand why so many people think we as Americans are going to get off so easily, when so very many Christians have been tortured and killed. I hope they are right & I'm wrong, though.

Yeah. Some of the people with these theories seem to be whack jobs, which gives me hope that it is just nuts.

Fact is, this sick world is headed right for tribulation, one step at a time.

IMHO, making B. Hussein Obama the Prez will be one small step in that direction, one giant leap for mankind. :twitch

If he is elected,

I can't even finish that thought.

G-d have mercy on us.

Please tell your son we thank him for his service.
