Good to see these things discussed so I know for if the Middle Schoolers in our dept. mention it, but I have not been to a movie in so long, it's incredible. I know I won't be going to see.

Discertnment is important, but so is knowing what you can handle. I knew a Sunday School teacher, now deceased, who ws saved out of alcoholism and for the last 44 years of her life, she never would enter a restaurant if it had a bar. Other people who were alcoholics can possible handle it, though they dare not drink. And, many who never were can handle going in.

So, there's a lot of individuality there, but the only superhero movies I saw were the Superman series in the 80s and the first couple Batmans. That was more just for something to do with friends. I never really liked superhero stuff, and never had any comics books with them.

Now, Richie Rich, I do still have quite a few of his comics. But, superheroes never appealed to me, even as a kid, nor did any action adventure stuff. (The A-Team, for instance, had too much violence for me). Don't know why, but comedy, family stuff (the Dukes' closeness and Boss Hogg/Rosco comedy a la Laurel and Hardy were what drew me to the Dukes, while others liked the action), and some sci-fi were always my favorite. But, even witht he last, I was oddly picky.

Incredible Hulk movie was great, the one a few years ago was horrible. They set it up for a sequel.
