Spam up 9%

I was watching Fox Business this morning and they had a guy from Spam on there talking about how Spam sales were up 10% (I only could find an article that said 9%) and I thought of all the people here buying Spam to put away :pound

I LOVE Spam. Everyone else I know hates it to death, but I can eat Spam with a ton of stuff. Makes me wanna buy a few cans....

Ooh, spam.. Try putting a slice of hot spam on a block of hot rice and spreading some teriyaki sauce on the spam (google 'spam musubi'?).. Not bad..

Best thing to do with spam was when we did a 'spam night" for a youth outreach event. We had a "spamwood derby" (interesting that a spam cylinder won). Spam sculpting contests, etc.

But as far as me eating the stuff? I guess if I was in a prison camp and it was that or starve, I could even eat bugs. But not when I have a choice. But all the more power to those whose taste buds and bodies can tolerate it. :hat

Not that extra food is always good to have on hand, but I only purchase what I would eat anyway - so whey protien, meal replacement shakes, pouch tuna (tastes a tad better the cans), natural peanut butter, rolled oats, etc.
