Hey all, name is Tony. I've periodically checked out Rapture Ready here and there for a while now, and decided I'd go ahead and join the formums. Well, I guess I better tell everyone a little bit about myself. I'm 34 years old, and I've only been a christian for about four and a half years or so. It's a struggle sometimes though... I get into a slump occasionally. But I love my Lord and Savior and what He has done for me. Well I cant wait to meet some of you, and get into some topics. God bless.

Dude, whats up. Nice to meet you. I'm guessing your into music based on your name. What type do you listen too?
BTW my name is Paul, I'm 35 and have a wife and three boys with a little girl in the oven. Great to have you hear on RR brother. I will look forward to getting to know you too.

Metal and christian metal are my favorites as well as some of your heavier christian Metalcore bands like As I lay Dying. And the not so heavy stuff like old school Stryper. But I also like a little classical, celtic, praise and worship (HUGE Casting Crowns fan) a tad bit of country here and there (I am in Texas you know) and a bit of blues, and I love the old crooners like Sinatra and Dean Martin. And really old stuff like 50's rock, and even some opera on occasion.....ok I just love music in general, especially if it has a positive message..... congrats on the one in the oven. I pray God blesses you and your family.

I NEW IT!! We are kindred spirits. Here are some of my favorite bands
As I Lay Dying
Haste the Day (pressure the hinges)
Living Sacrifice
Underoath
My Children My Bride
Inhale Exhale
August Burns Red
Killswitch Engage (not "Christian", but they don't sing about evil stuff)
All That Remains (again not Christian, but not bad)
I also like more mellow stuff like...
Kutlass
Run kid run
POD
Jeremy Camp
12 Stones
The Almost (lead singer is drummer for Underoath)
Thousand Foot Crutch

Of course my wife hates the screeming stuff, but I can definately look to the sky and see my Saviour when I listen to it. Plus lifting weights to it is awesome!! Some people here are totally against "Christian Metal" and thats ok. Don't let a difference in opinion get you down. We are all members of the same body with totally different back grounds. And we all have Jesus Christ that binds us all together. We are a family and we are happy to have you here!!!!
