My tomatoes

Awhile back I planted two tomato plants. One was a grape tomato plant and the other was a hybrid goliath. Well so far I have had tomatoes come up on both plants and my grape tomatoes are turning red and I've actually been able to eat a couple of them. Mmm, they are sweet! Now my other tomatoes are growing but staying green. How long does it normally take for tomatoes like that to turn colors? Is it because they are a larger variety?

The larger the tomato, the slower to ripen. But it will be worth the wait! Aren't you glad you can enjoy having tomatoes without ANY fear or salmonella poisoning? I've really been enjoying our homegrown tomatoes and the feeling of safety when I serve them to my family!
