This is so awesome! A good friend of my daughter's from school is a "moderate" Muslim and her family is originally from Iran. They went to school together from kindergarten to 4th grade until she moved one town over and started going to another school. They have always stayed in contact and I say they are moderate Muslim because the parents actually have let her go to church functions with us every now and then.
Just recently my daughter went to their house to spend the night and the next day when I went to pick her up, the mom told me that her daughter was interested in becoming a Christian. I asked her what her and her husband thought about that with them being Muslim. That is when she told me that they tell people they are Muslim because that is what they were brought up with but the Dad doesn't believe in anything and she doesn't either. The mom was asking me a lot of questions and I left it open letting them know if they had any question that they are more than welcomed to ask.
They said if that is what their daughter wants then she has their blessing. Pray that the daughter accepts Christ and in return brings her family to Christ too. They are sweet people and I would love them to be there in heaven when the time comes.
P.S. It was my daughter's witnessing about the coming rapture to her friend that sparked the interest. She is 11 years old. God bless the children!
