sending son to Bible Camp

Praise God!!!!!!

My 11 year old son desperately wanted to go to Bible camp this coming week. However, dh and I are struggling financially, and absolutley could not afford the 218.00 dollars to go. We have 5 kids under the age of 11, and I am a stay at home mom.....and in this day, 7 people living off of one income is a miracle in itself!

This morning, I had the urge to call the camp. Call and tell them that ds really wants to go,(camp starts at 4:00 today), but we have no money to send him. The young woman at the camp responded almost joyfully. She told me that someone had just donated enough money for the next 10 years for kids who couldn't afford to go to camp....to be able to go:yeah

So....we are now busy packing and praising the Lord! (I had to quit crying first!!!!he he)

I find it so amazing that our God continually provides for those who love Him. Praise God for His unfailing love, grace, and mercy! We are truly blessed!

I am so happy for your son!:yeah I went to Bible camp near Marble Falls Texas as a kid for 3 summers and it was one of the highlights of my life. We learned Bible verses, had daily study, wonderful cabins which we decorated with wild flowers, swam and canoed in the Colorado River, rodeos, campfires..... He will have such a wonderful time. I would not want to think of my life if I had not had that experience (check my member name!)

Praise our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ for this wonderful opportunity given your son. My 9 yr old daughter just got back from bible camp on Friday. She absolutely loved it and was sad it went by so fast. She's looking forward to next year. :)
