I would think 3 wheels are safer than 2! :thumb

That is, if we are talking about off-road.

I was thinking of a street bike. Bikes make me nervous after hubby's accident.

More serious accidents happen on 4 wheelers than 2- a false sense of security causes this. That is why there are age laws for 4 wheelers, but not for dirtbikes.

No, no, you're not off topic. I'd like to get an off-road for a 25-30 mile radius, but will use my car for longer trips. Don't have a clue about this stuff!

2-wheels is safest, but takes the most skill. 4-wheels next, and 3-wheels least safe. Im not even sure they sell 3-wheelers anymore for off-road use.

I saw a three wheeler on the road a few days ago, which made me go hummm...
