I posted this in the Prayer thread, but decided to move it to the Praise Reports, cause that is what it is and God deserves all the Praise.

:hug to all of you who are supporting me in prayer for the sale of my house. Thank you and God Bless you all.

On Tuesday, I went to the house to meet my SIC/realtor so she could retake pictures of the outside after it had been power washed and I wanted to check on the status of the paint job on the inside.

Well, she forgot her camera, so we went out back on the patio to divy up(she took what she could use and I took what I could use and the rest went in the trash) some planters and things that were out there.

We were there about an hour when I told her that I was going to go out front and turn off the water to the house, because the painters had left it turned on. I was trying to avoid a leak in the kitchen from the ice maker tubing. (it is capped but I just wanted to make sure)

I went out front, turned off the water and within seconds was doing this :idunno because where the ground had been dry as a bone the water came bubbling up out of the ground and puddling. I called my friend and when she saw it, she said "oh, oh, I'll bet that the old galvanized pipe gave out. (it is only 58 years old) I was like :panic :twitch (jk). She then got the number for the plumbing company she uses and we called them to come out and tell us what was going on.

I told her, you know God never promised us a rose garden and He did say we would have trials and tribulations, but I am going to Praise His Holy Name, because it happened to me when I was there and I could take care of the problem instantly. I am finding out that it is how we handle the things that happen in our life that affects our witness as a Believer. Hopefully I made ole satan really angry, because I was Praising the Lord instead of getting upset over the busted pipe

First they told me that the plumber would not be out till between 1pm to 3pm, then they called back and said he would be there between 12:30 and 1pm then at 10:45 they called and said he would be there within the hour and sure enough he showed up about 20 minutes later. He turned off the water at the meter (the red dial that shows a leak was going round so fast it made me dizzy), (which saved me on my water bill) Thank you Jesus!! He assessed the problem and went in the truck to figure out the cost (new pipe from the front of the house to the water meter) almost $1,400.00 , but it had to be done, I cannot sell a house with a busted pipe in the front yard :aha now can I?

When he got finished and turned on the water, I went into the house to check out all the faucets and found that the toilet tank was not filling up, so Joe the plumber looked at it and told me the insides needed to be replaced. So I told him thanks and I would see if my son-in-love would fix it for me. I called my son-in-love and told him what was wrong and he said go buy the kit and he would install it the next day, Wednesday, which he did.

You know the Scripture that says, "Resist the devil an he will flee". Well I now know deep down what it means. I did not give in to the flesh and bemoaned the fact that the pipe had burst and I had to pay a lot to have it fixed, which would have caused me to have a miserable day, instead I Praised the Lord for keeping me from having a real disaster should the busted pipe have occured during the night or in the afternoon when I had left to go home or the next day when no one would have seen it as no one was due back at the house till Saturday when the painters will finish up the job on the inside.

I also thank the Lord and Praise Him for my son-in-love who is so willing to help me when needed.

Your prayers are indeed being hornored by God our Father and I thank you so very much for your faithfulness.

This verse has also rooted deep in my heart:
Phl 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Thank you Father God for continuing to strengthen my Faith and my walk and for ordaining and guiding my steps through each and every day. Through the good and through the bad I will continue to Praise Your Holy Name and give Thanksgiving for Your Mercies and Goodness and especially for giving us Your Son, Jesus Christ as a Sacrifice so that we might be saved and covered in His Righteousness that makes us acceptable in Your sight. Amen and Amen

Ann

Thank you ann for posting this. And what a sweet sweet reminder to us all. The devil cannot steal our joy, unless you let it. he cannot take you away from Christ, unless you let it. God is so awesome, whether in good or bad situation, nothing can separate us from the Love of Christ. Nor even things to come, not only does that nor things to come represnt our final depature out of here in the rapture, but also the trials to come in our life. That what ever circumstances that we face, nothing can keep us nor separate us from the Love of God which in Christ Jesus our Lord!!:hug:thumb:yeah
