What do you guys think about Jentezen Franklin?

I've watched his program on an irregular basis for about three years now and I've never heard him preach anything unbiblical. The few mentions of him on RR have made me weary about giving to his ministry, although the few negative things I've heard seem to be errors in judgment on his part that any preacher could make.

Someone on here called him a WoF'er, so I'm really concerned. I'd appreciate it if you all could point me in the right direction.

I never cared much for him when I've seen him on TBN. He's on the list here:

On his website is (IMO) a red flag:

Any time I have seen this type of verbage, it leads to contemplative spirituality. I know that's not much, but I suppose I'm just leaning more toward anyone who is part of the TBN group is spiritually weak.

Yeah, the fact that he makes regular appearances on TBN's Praise the Lord made me think twice about him. Then I thought, well, so does Kirk Cameron and a few other biblically sound evangelists that I like. I'm always busy when my favorites show up on Praise the Lord and programs like that, but I want to believe that they are only there to spread the real gospel, and not to mingle with the false teachers of TBN or to fleece viewers out of their money.

I started on Jentezen's fasting movement and it was a really positive experience for me. But now that you mention it, there was way too much talk about financial rewards as a result of fasting.

He preached at Winterfest 08' in Knoxville. I enjoyed his teaching on the Salt Covenant. I didn't hear anything apostic (that a word?). Good guy IMO.
