It is my son Jacques birthday today, and he is 10 years old. I just want to Praise God for giving him to us. He is such a blessing, and enriched our lives in these few years. I had a very difficult pregnancy with him, and went into labour at about 31 weeks, fearing that I might loose him. I had to stay in hospital on medication for 7 weeks until he was ready to be born. God gave us a precious, beautiful boy. When he was 3 years old, he was diagnosed with Diabetes, and has been a diabetic for almost 7 years now. It is difficult, but when I read what other parents have to go through with sickness or loss of live of their children, I carry my load with gratitude.
4 Years later God gave us Jenique, his spirited little Sister who never runs out off ideas to stop my heart from beating for a few seconds.:aha . We had her tested for Diabetes, and I received her results back today - She is in no danger. Her levels are normal - Praise God! :yeah
Thank you Jesus for Jacques and Jenique. Thank you for Jacques that chose to follow you, and help us to guide Jenique in her walk to choose you. Help us as parents to equip them for your Kingdom!
