So, you think it'll be easy enough to wait till mid-August, then? Will they still be somewhat flooded?

Be nice to know how to plan to stock my freezer since I don't have a lot of room and I like to sort of get down to a certain level before I leave on a trip (back from the mission tri on the 11th)

Beef Prices typically sell cheap in the fall due to many ranchers dumping cattle on the market to cull herds before winter feeding costs are high. Spring prices are higher because they add back animals to utilize the pastures available. So I would say you will be fine till fall on stocking your freezer. Don't wait till spring if you want to get bulk prices reasonable.

Cool, thanks, some really good finds here. (I see The Barn is mentioned here in Orville - used to eat there a fair amount going to or from college in Wooster. Really good food back then; haven't been there in a while.)

Wow, I see a national search reveals they have emu. (For those who don't know, basically like an Australian ostrich.) I had barbecued emu once at our Hallof Fame balloonfest, and it was good. Tasted like barbecued beef. (It was probably the shredded like it available there.)

Wonder how it would taste on a George Foreman grill; that's how I cook meat if I don't get proccoked (I assume none of their stuff is precooked), quick and easy to time and I don't have to worry about cooking things. Anyone ever had chicken on a George Foreman?

Cool. Great to see you. I live in Stark County, but really loved the whole area; wanted to move to Wooster one day, but it never happened. (Here means NE Ohio area in that sentence.) still awfully close. :wave
