The newest and last book in the Left Behind series is out now and it is very profound. All about the era at the end of Christ's 1000 year reign on earth and when Satan is let loose again.

I hadn't realized they were writing another book, but I'm very glad they did. They being Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.

The dedication in the front will make you leap with joy, or at least it did to me.

I've been meaning to buy this. I have all the other books. I've never been disappointed. Thanks for reminding me!

Just got it but haven't read it yet. Was reading "Crime Scene Jerusalem" by Alton Gansky. Very provocative and intriguing book. A cynical forensic detective is in Jerusalem to give a lecture and when he walks out his hotel door he finds himself in 1st century Jerusalem just days after the crucifixion of Christ. He's taken from scene to scent to look at evidence. I liked the book.

Also, was busy with Ted Dekker's newest one "Skin". People who love his Circle Trilogy will like this one and be pleased he's starting a new Circle series beginning in Jan 2008. Releasing the first and second novels simultaneously and it's going to be a 6-novel series.

I hate to be a downer but I was not impressed with Kingdom Come at all. A huge disappointment, IMO.

I am halfway through it, and find it interesting so far, esp the parts about the sacrifices continuing on for Jews in the New Temple...

I read about 6 chapters and I did not like it at all. I really liked their previous books. From 1-10 I give it a 1 3/4.

Oh well I'll read it anyway. I can't stand starting a book and not finishing it even if it's bad nor can I start a series and not read all the books in it.

ok, so far I'm halfway through it. It's ok. It kind of leaves me wanting more scenes with Jesus, but I guess the authors are erring on the side of caution. i.e. don't want to put false words in our Lord's mouth, which is understandable and probably smart, but with story set in this time period, there needs to be more Jesus and less humanity.

I will post again once I finish.
