Piercings!

I'm curious to know what the general view on piercings here is. I have 8 myself, 4 are generally visible each day, and they're more for myself than anything else. My boyfriend has quite a few as well.

Opinions? :)

I don't really have an opinion. A close friend of our family is covered in piercings and tatoos and he's quite a strong Christian. I feel that we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. I myself only have my ears peirced. And my husband has no tatoos or piercings.

The nice thing about piercing is when you are tired of it you just take it out. :lol2 Not so easy to do with a tat your tired of. :panic

Each of my ears has one piercing. Other than that, I'm not a big fan of piercings or tattoos. The fact that I am a very conservative 54 year old probably has a lot to do with that. :aha Although I'm not real fond of tattoos and piercings, I'm very fond of a lot of people who have them and I know that Christ does not reject people because of their outward appearance. He's more concerned with the condition of your heart.

personally, i only have one in each ear, although they do close up pretty frequently. i would not get any more done because they hurt me lol. but im cool with people who have peircings. my hubby has a piercing in one of his ears, and he has 7, technically 8, tattooes.

I'm conservative in my opinion of piercings and tattoos. I only have my ears done (one hole in each ear lobe) :)

Hubby has no piercings or tattoos.

I'm not into multiple piercings or tattoos. I have one hole in each ear lobe; my 16-year-old daughter has two in each, and I had to think about that one before I agreed to it (she was 13).

No offense to anyone who has a tongue piercing, but I HATE what they look like when the person is talking. My sis-in-law has one, and it is very distracting and ugly, but that is just my opinion.

I agree that it is just external physical stuff.
