I'm Brie. Been reading RR for many years. Was just Brie on the old board, but couldn't remember my password so I reregistered ;) Been registered awhile, but just reading until now.
Little bit about me:
Live in Michigan with my husband of 17 years. We have 2 boys, Mike is 18 (in a couple weeks) and Eric is 15. As you can tell by my screen name, my husband is a truck driver. I work as the director of consumer-run drop-in center for people who have a mental illness. We have a 6 month old Sheltie who is my baby and I adore. We also have a momma cat and her 3 babies, but they are all going to new homes in the next week or so.
I have to say that I am not in church. Haven't been in about 4 years. I was hurt in a couple different ones and haven't found the courage to go back. I get so tired of all the drama. Why does it have to be so difficult to find what I am looking for? People make church so complicated. I like simple.
I don't completely know what denomination I am either. I just know that I believe in God. I believe that Jesus died for me. I believe that He is coming back soon and that I really need to get my life in order.
I came back to RR looking for a more positive influence in my life. I belong to several other boards online, but they are dragging me down.
Ok, guess that's plenty about me. Forgot to mention that I can be long winded also :lol2 Thanks for having me. Hope to get to know you all better.
