Hi everyone. My first post It's great to be part of a forum like this. Can i ask everybody something???..........
Is it just me, or do most of you feel out of place with other Christians since most Christians don't follow the pre-millenial (Armageddon-return of Christ) belief.
I have a hard time since in my church. Most don't believe, or don't know. Those who don't know don't have the thirst to know...

:wave Welcome! It is good to hear from you . I do believe here on this end I can say most of my christian friends and family believe our Lord is soon to return .:yeah

For those who don't seem to have their eyes open we must pray for them daily that our Lord will open their eyes to see the signs of his comeing so they too can be watchful and not caught of guard .:console

I know a couple of people outside of the boards whom I can talk with about it - my parents. :lol2

The most I can get out of other people is, "Well, I hope there's a Rapture, because I don't want to go through the Tribulation!" And I've heard other people say they don't like to book of Revelation. My guess is that they either don't understand it, or it scares them to read it and know what's to come (which, for those of us who believe that Jesus will take us out of all of it have nothing to fear!). But I love talking about the end times. I think it's amazing to see prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes, and to know that Jesus is coming back to get us! He keeps His promises (John 14:1-4). :)

Thankful, once you are saved that's it. You certainly have nothing more to fear. Your salvation is secure: signed, sealed, and delivered until the day of redemption!:yeah

I'm sure he meant by" being caught of guard" is allowing ourselves to slip into a condition of complacency in regards to the soon return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When He returns for us, we Christians shouldnot want to be found in any way "backslidden" or caught up with the cares of this world. Otherwise we will be ashamed. We won't lose our salvation, but we may suffer loss of rewards. :hug

:doh Thank you for clearifying this for me , that is exactly what I ment .I guess I am not very good at putting my thoughts into words . :faint

Sorry MICKEYBOY2005 if i worried you .:hug

Thankful had started a conversation about being caught off guard in this thread.
I've deleted their comments from this thread and started a new one here:

Please be mindful that new topics need their very own thread. It's easier for all of us to follow conversations that way. Thanks. :)

Mickeyboy2005, welcome.

Please start your question in a new thread elsewhere on the board. Christian chat would be a good forum. Placing a question here in the welcome forum won't get as much exposure. Thanks. :)
