This guy is a total fraud. Several years ago I took a friend to church and he was a guest speaker. My friend is one of those that thinks Christianity is just another man made religion and all preachers want is your money, so getting her to come to church with me was a big step. Now at this point I had never heard of Mike Murdoch. So anyway long story short, he was doing his sow a seed sermon and at the end he says that if you sow a $1000 seed tonight you will get it back 100 fold with in the next 12 months but it must be $1000. He then proceeds to tell people to give it in faith ect..at this point the has half the congregation standing up with these $1000 checks waiving in the air and all the sudden the fire alarm goes off and it is loud and instead of him stopping everything and making sure everything was OK he totally ingnored it because he had these people's checks in hand and he wasn't going to "lose the sale" ( I'm in sales so I knew exactly what he was doing). At this point I was so mad and embarrased because I could see my friend got this look on her face like "I told you so" and then she points out that when the alarm went off he had that deal closed and had no regards for anyone's safety which what was going through my head as well, so I just looked at her and said lets leave, then I apoligized and tried to explain that is not what Christianity is, but I could tell she really wasn't interested. This guy is the posterchild for a wolf in sheeps clothing.

False Prophets and False Teachers are Many (Matt 24) and the real bad ones will be among the churches (Acts 20:28, 2 Pet 2, 1 Tim 4:1) This should never come to the surprise of the Christian/Believers, for we are forewarned in scriptures in the New Testament throughout.
