Microsoft patch (July 9-08) Question please?

How do I get rid of the prompt to install the new update? It is just sitting there bugging me. :heh

right click it and tell it to install, then accept and trust it's content. Restart your computer if it tells you to

but, some updates and patches are important. Make sure you know what you decided not to install. I had one the other day that prevented malicous attacks. I want that patch.

This patch is important, you DO want to install it once any issues with your applications have been sorted out. Not installing the update leaves you vulnerable to being misdirected to a malicious website, even if you enter a trusted address.

Zone alarm has updated their software. If that was your only issue, go below to download the update and then install the Microsoft patch. Both patches are important.

Thank you everyone! I finally got both computers straightened out. I had to go searching for the security patch, (the hidden updates were grayed out) but I found it and everything is up to date now. I wish these things were simple for me but they seldom are. :lol2
