Here is a very "enlightening" interactive map of the growth of Walmart since the 1960's. Wow !

When watching this interesting map, one can see the absolutely monumental growth of just ONE retail chain,,,,think of the hundreds of other "chains" that have taken place right alongside of this one store. Mind you, during this same time, American jobs have been exported to China / India / Mexico, etc., and now we have no manufacturing base. Walmart represents this trend,,,cheap goods made in China..............:rolleyes

True. BUT Walmart is the only place alot of people can afford to shop.

thats not even all of them in the last 3yrs. The walmart i shop wasnt on the map and its been there three years

What's funny is Cracker Barrel gets most of their stuff from good ol' China too. In fact they sell this lettered thing that is red, white and blue and says Let Freedom Ring. :ohno

Yes. I am not a Walmart fan. I think it helped to destroy small towns all across America and take jobs from family businesses.
