The *It Is Written* TV ministry has been a Sunday morning staple for over 50 years. I urge Christians {especially new believers} to beware.

Through the years, the hosts of IIW have always been men whose bible studies appear to be doctrinally sound and Christ-centered. The latest host is a pleasant young man named Shawn Boostra who has a talent for gentle teachings of OT stories. You can't help but like him.

Upon digging a little deeper however you'll find this is a Seventh Day Adventist ministry that hides profoundly heretical teachings behind a convincing outer veil of Christian righteousness. Once a person is lured into the SDA they will be indoctinated with heresies such as sabbath-keeping, works salvation, and the teachings of false prophet Ellen G. White.

Born again believers should change the channel when It Is Written is aired. The SDA cult is one of the best counterfeits the devil has to offer.

I'm glad you posted regarding this. I stumbled across "It is Written" for the first time just yesterday, and I was wondering if anyone here had heard of it. The show I saw appeared okay - except I thought perhaps he COULD be hinting that he's a post-tribber... I figured I'd have to watch with discernment (which I'm beginning to think we need to do with EVERYTHING these days, anyway).

I think you hit the nail on the head with that Rich Indeed, I believe as you that everything must be held up against scripture and we must study to see if the things that are taught are true. Even teachers who were once rock solid are not necessarily safe anymore.
