It seems funny to post a praise thread while weeping, but praise Him I must.
My grandpa died early this morning. He is now finally home with the Lord after being here for 92 years. He joins my grandma, his parents, and many other loved ones. I'm sure they are having a grand time catching up. I wish I could be there, but that will come one of these days.
Thank you to all who have prayed for him. Your prayers have touched my heart and helped me through this. :hug

I have to admit that when I read your post I couldn't help but smile. What a wonderful blessing to have so many family members in the presence of our King! One day you will have the greatest family reunion! How awesome!!!

I don't think it seems funny at all. I've often wondered why (and then of course realize why) believers who know the person who passed away was also a believer are sorrowful about their passing.
Don't be sad, be happy! He's just gone on a permanent vacation that you'll be joining him on too some day soon. Nevertheless, separation does tend to bring a bit of sorrow and for that, :hug.
