I've never heard of this guy so I don't know if he's credible but some folks on another board are talking about this:
BUSH SIDES WITH MEXICAN KILLERS AGAINST U.S.
By Cliff Kincaid

NewsWithViews.com
The State Department’s top legal adviser told international lawyers on June 6 that President Bush is so committed to the primacy of international law that he has taken his home state of Texas to court on behalf of a group of Mexican killers. The Mexicans had been sentenced to death for murdering U.S. citizens, including young children.

Is there any other article that supports this man's article? Guess I need to contact my family who all live in the state of Texas and see if it was aired in their areas or in the newspapers that Bush actually took the state of Texas to court.

Good idea...I'll look around tonight for more sources too and pull thread if not found. The Author of the article has archives at the following site:

I dont this story has any credability. CNN or Fox news would be reporting about it and some repbulican or democrate would try to use this as a play for the white house

Here is a link to all of the court rulings regarding this from the International Court of Justice:

Actually, would they report it? Or try to use it in the campaign? I don't think so, we are only told half of all that is happening dealing with our country... and half of that is false reports. I don't think they would report this cause it would start a "civil war" (mho).

It wouldn't suprise me. I think the Bush presidency has become morally bankrupt. ....and to think I voted for him twice. I don't understand what happened:doh

I just read the judgment, and the article is very slanted in saying Bush is defending baby killers.
The judgment says that until there is determination whether US laws were violated in these specific cases, there should be a stay of execution.
The Fed is just agreeing, and not defending the criminals, but in effect saying there should be due process. They are agreeing that the death sentence should be delayed till the question of whether their rights under existing Viena conventions were violated.
The real issue is who has jurisdiction on international legal matter.
The State or the Fed.
Texas is saying they are soveirgn and not subject to International Law or jurisdiction. The Fed is saying as a member of the Republic, you are.
It's misleading to say Bush is defending baby killers and murderers.
As devils advocate, I would offer this.
If you were abroad and arrested for a crime, would you want your Gov't to assist and defend your rights?
Whether guilty or innocent, would you expect and demand that as a foreigner, you would like to speak to the US consular as per the Vienna Convention, or would you submit to a foreign rule of law.
Remember, guilt or innocence isn't the issue at this point, just the rule of law.
On the other hand, if you were in another country illegally, should you still have the same rights afforded you?
Our country was founded on the idea that all men have certain inaliable rights, not some men.

I didn't vote for him at all...nor when he ran for Governor of my state.
I did vote daddy in and look what he did.. that should have spoken volumes... however, it had to happen so they say. Saw the writing on the wall, and is it ever so clear now.

I'm afraid all politicians are the same, no matter their party. Some are slicker than others but they are bottom line all the same. We are in the NWO age, the age of power and corruption.
