Please don't think badly of me, and please don't ban me i only want to ask a simple question.

I am new here and i just want to know, WHY is it so closed here? Why can't people with even slight variations in the belief not come here? Read the rules of this forum. They are EXTREMELY specific. I hope nobody is afraid to have their faith challenged? Because when your faith is challenged, you can turn it around and use that opportunity to witness. You could have a debate forum, where non -Christians could pose their questions to you, and in turn you can show them the awesome power of the Bible and prove them wrong. Not that you have to open your mind up to new ideas, but wouldn't you be a better Christian overall if you let in those who oppose you and get to know their arguement, get to know what it looks like from their standpoint so that you can understand WHY they don't believe in God, and therefore you will be better able to convert them.

I hope you do not think ill of me for disagreeing on this one small point, or that would be rather like a dictatorship. I just think we could all be better Christians by opening up just a bit.

This is a private fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ.

Like a local church, those with different beliefs are not allowed to disrupt the entire process. I doubt you or any unbeliever would do that down the street from your house, so think of it the same here. Lots of other boards that will allow that, not this one.
