My son is now 20 and in the Marine Corps.
I have boxes of stuff I have saved from his childhood... school papers, lock of hair from his first haircut, professional photos as well as pictures taken at home.
I am wanting to put together a photo album for him as a christmas gift, but I don't know what all to include in it or not. Really don't want a cute style scrapbook either.
Any ideas?

do a cute style scrapbook :D believe me, your son will enjoy it and will not ever get tired of it because it is fun and interesting, instead of just looking at photos

Look for a hobby lobby near you, if not a hobby lobby than a Michaels or JoAnn's type of place. They have Marine Scrapbooks available that you could put it all into.
It doesn't have to be a 'cute" scrapbook, there's alot of stuff that you can use to make it more "manly" rather than girly or cutsie.

Go to Shutterfly. You can load all your pictures on their site free then follow their directions and make him a photobook.
I made both of my daughters books of their baby pictures thru current age.

Visit my site www.memoriesbound.org They are WAY better than shutterfly etc...
You can scan in the hair, documents, pictures etc and create the most beautiful books that are forever treasured. I never got into the scrap book stuff.....
I loved it so much I became a consultant!
