Same here, Bible 1st.

I was going to add 10 options but couldnt edit it as I thought.

I voted Swiss Army Knife because I could use it to build a shelter, a raft, sharpen my fishing spear etc, I could start a fire (eventually) like he did in the movie by rubbing a stick on a wooden plank..
Though I have never done it that way.


Although it wouldnt be the best I suppose I could fashion some fishing line out of stipped tree bark and make a hook of wood, that is if spearing didnt produce a meal. Or maybe build some sort of trap.

I went with the fishing pole. I like to eat. I can start a fire with out the lighter and the knife would be great but less critical to survival plus I stink at using tools.

Zebco 33 with 12 lb big game, or a surf rod with 300 yards of 30 lb test?

I was thinking Surf Rod, bust open a oyster and use it for bait, catch something about 1 lb
then cast it into the deep and wait for the big one.
Then you could eat on it a few days.
My luck a 500 lb shark would get it and spool me!

I would have selected a rod & reel w/tackle but the rod is no good without the reel and tackle. Can start a fire without a bic. Therefore I had to choose between the knife or case of spam. I chose the spam because I could make a knife out of the spam cans also make a weapon and sphere to catch fish.

If I was deserted Id hope there was a cave like in the movie, because those coconuts falling would freak me out too.
