What does it mean when you see a dash below the member's name instead of a custom user title? I know that there are default settings (Regular Member, Jr. Member...etc) that appear under the member's name if they don't make up one on their own. So, why do some people just have a dash under their name?

Those people have likely been put on "vacation" by the mods (in otherwords, due to infractions, they've been banned for a period of time).

I wondered if that was it, but one time I saw someone who had the dash under their name but they also had the button beside their name turned to green (at the same time). My understanding is that the green button means that person is online so I did not understand how a person whose account was closed could be showing as being online. Thanks for responding to my question Heybales! :hat

Krayola, it could be that they could sign in and read but their posting and/or pm privileges were restricted.:hat
