From Dollars to Ameros if it meant the difference between you and your family going bankrupt/starving and living as you do now?

Just some food for thought.

I have not decided what I would do if faced with the situation, but, IMHO, it may well be right around the corner.

If it meant my babies wouldn't starve, you bet I would. I would be first in line. That is not to say I would like it but I would do it.

:idunno If our money is not backed by gold or silver it is still not going to be worth anything.

Edit: Maybe it could be backed by oil.

The dollar is currently defacto backed by oil. And when the dollar weakens, oil prices rise as we are seeing.

YES, our "government sold us Christians out when they took us off the gold standard. As the days go by I have less and less attachment to America and more attachment to the kingdom of heaven.

My Grandfather and Great Uncle caught Japanese lead in WW2. My Uncle came back shell shocked for life after being on two Pacific ships sunk during battle.

No way will I willingly give up freely the rights clearly granted to Americans in the Constitutution. I will not easily submit to a governing body not elected by the people for the people. I will not pay taxes to an international body of financiers to maintain a North American Currency. (I feel currently the FED is very close to becoming international whether I like it or not.) A strong centralized government has been debated by greater men than myself (Adams vs Jefferson) to no avail, so I won't go there.

I would have no problem using Ameros. I know that it would just be exchanging one worthless fiat currency with another one. I once read an article about how the dollar really isn't our money anyway. It is not issued by the US government but by the Federal Reserve which is a group of private banks. In that sense the dollar hasn't really been our money for many years, maybe not since 1913.
