After my U/S last week, I almost certain we are having another girl. I love the name Hadassah. I love the book of Esther too. Anyway what I have right now is
Hadassah Shalom
What do you think? Is it too out there? I also love Hebrew names and most of our kids have Hebrew names. I also like names that are different. I never go with what everyone else is naming their children. The meaning is also very important. Thanks for the input.

I think Hadassah is a beautiful name. I never would have thought of Shalom as a name, but I don't see why it should not be used as a name. Peace is really a lovely name along the lines of Faith and Hope.

Francine Rivers' "Mark of the Lion" trilogy is my favorite set of fiction books. The main character is Hadassah. She's a wonderful example of real Christianity. Plus the name just has such a nice soft beauty to it.

my daughter has a Hebrew name too, Amissa. I didn't want a common name cuz in my life time I almost got whiplash from all the times my name was called out!:poundlinda, and once had 2 best friends with that name!:nod

When we were pregnant 2 years ago I LOVED this name...
Selah (pron: say-la) it's in the psalms as a pause and reflection towards God in thanks.
Selah Shalom ???

I think it's beautiful. :)
I noticed your signature; I have a Zachary and a Jadyn (just differently spelled) too. My Zachary is 10 and my Jadyn is 5, (and a girl). :)
