What do you think? And if so, with who?
Personally, I really don't know what's going to happen, but from what I've been seeing on the news all I can say is it's really a shame. Maybe Favre should just stay retired. OTOH, he certainly proved last year he still has it.

He probably will, somewhere. I bet Parcells would love to have him...
I ate a lot of humble pie last year (I thought he should have retired 2 years ago -- how wrong I was!) He is an extraordinary talent.
Personally, I think he should stay retired, as a Packer. His change is starting to get ugly and there's a lot on animosity setting in.

He'll play this year. I thought that I heard this morning that the Packers may agree to trade him. At first, I was hoping that he would have remained retired, but as we move close to the start of the NFL preseason, I begin looking forward to fall and football season and Favre should be a part of that for at least one more year.

Joe Montana did himself no favors by trying to play after he should have retired.

Well...here in Wisconsin there are several areas of thought on this. Some say keep him, others say trade him and still others say stay home.
Since 1992, he's had the fans eating out of his hand....we loved him. Then he retired in March...we were sad, but knew he eventually would.....then came all the rumors and stuff leading up to now. A lot of people are losing respect for Favre here for doing this. I really do feel sorry for the team that he's pulling this stuff. Of course, Ted Thompson isn't handling it much better, but they went by Favre announcing his retirement and going from their with the plan for 2008 with Aaron Rodgers at QB.
If Favre would come back and start, that would put Rodgers yet another year of standing on the sidelines. Rodgers is a free agent after the 2009 season. If he doesn't start this year, he will next year..but I do have a feeling that he'll be looking somewhere else so that we have to start all over again on the QB of the future.
And yes, I am never going to wear my Favre jersey ever again!

It appears that Favre will be reporting to Packer training camp.

I doubt if this is over........it's been really frustrating around here! Most folks I know are pretty tired of Favre.

As a Jets fan I'm thrilled with tonight's report on ESPN that Brett Favre has been traded to the Jets. I still can't believe why he agreed to go there. I still won't believe it's going to happen until I see him throwing passes in the Jets green and white uniform. Wow! However, I still half expect to hear that Favre has changed his mind and the trade is off. <-----Spoken like a true negative NY Jets fan. :lol2

I can't believe they traded him. They'(the Packers) are concerned about the long term future of their team? What about the short term?
Have I missed something? This is the most ridiculous trade I've ever seen, considering how well the Packers played last year? Was there a money dispute?
Note -- Montana played well in KC those final 2 years.
