I am thinking of using Harold Jacobs Geometry: Seeing, Doing, Understanding, 3rd Edition for my 15 year old son this coming school year.

Has anyone used it? And if so, what did you think of it?

In addition, I was planning to use Dr. Callahan's video series that goes with the Jacob's Math curriculum.

Has anyone used this particular series? What do you think of it?

I have never heard of it. Try going to www.homeschoolreviews.com and doing a search for that curriculum. There may be some reviews there from other people who have used it.

Thank you for posting this link!

We tried using Jacob's Math last year. I liked it, but my son has always had a hard time with math (we didn't start hs him until 5th grade, so his foundational math was weak, he is starting in 9th grade this fall).

I was trying to find DVDs to go with our Jacob's math, thinking that if he had someone teaching him with a fresh perspective he would do better. Math is not intuitive for him.

I'm SO excited!!

BTW, Jacob's Math is used in the Veritas Press curriculum, a very solid program.

BTW I saw this demo at the CHAP convention and was disappointed that Algebra was not offered, but now it is. This looked like a great program for Geometry when I saw it at CHAP, I am sure Algebra is the same caliber offering.

Thanks again, you helped me figure out what I am going to do with my DS this year!
