Your mileage may vary. People trying to get refunds from declining a Microsoft EULA abound on Linux forums, and some people have a really hard time getting a penny out of them. $200 is a good refund though, i've heard of others getting as little as €50.

Now if only they'd let us decline to have Windows installed before buying the machine, it'd make life a lot easier.
