My original post was removed for some reason... So I will try to ask the question in this post. Is a 7 day warning prior to the rapture biblical ?? And if so, can someone post the scripture on it for me? Thanks.

Matthew 25:13 - Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 - For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

I think these verses make it clear that there will be no warning. It could happen at any time. As Christians, we recognize the "time and season" by seeing the prophecies fulfilled around us. However, in 1 Thessalonians 5:1, Paul makes it clear that we really have no need of the date (time and season). We should always be watching for our Lord's return and live each day like it is our last chance to witness to others.

I have never heard of the theory of a seven day warning. What is this based on? Just curious, its new to me. I always felt that our warnings were by being aware and watching the signs.... to always be ready..:scratch

Never heard of that, where did you hear this?
Ultimately it's clearly not biblical. Perhaps you may be confused with the 7 year tribulation, the 70th week of Daniel, consisting of 7 years of judgement upon this earth. At the end of the 7 years Christ returns to the earth to judge his enemies, and set up a 1,000 year reign upon the earth.

In another thread-someone mentioned b/w 9/11/01 and Aug 5 of this year, that's a 7 year(or 360 days if you go by that Old Testament calendar, whatever it's called) period gone by.

Whoever mentioned it at that other thread I can't recall off the top of my head, could you clarify this?

Some very well respected prophecy teachers think many of these same words mean that we, the saints, will not be kept in the dark but we alone will know, even if for a very short time. Most feel as does the majority of views you will hear, we can know the season, we will be able to deduct that we are very, very close but nothing else.

As one Prophecy Teacher put it, this is not to confuse us but primarily to keep satan in the dark, so he has to always be prepared, always have his alignments in complete readiness for this kick off to the final showdown. It then, becomes strategic in the showdown process of the 7 year trib.

No warning
just a vocal announcement per shout & trumpet

I remember in my former church, they would play the trumpet, and it would give you chills thinking about that being the sound you would hear at the rapture! I think Jesus is telling the trumpet player to warm up and get ready to play!

Well, as long as I have been around Rapture Ready, and Christianity, I have heard the theory of 7 day warning about 2500 times now. I have heard it from preachers, evangelists, people on this forum, people on other forums, etc etc.
If you have not heard the term, 7 day warning, then you have not been a Christian for a long period of time.
That phrase used to be talked about on Rapture Ready on a daily basis over 8 years ago.
That is why I am asking the question... because its been so long, I cannot remember if it is biblical or not.
