Hello. I'm new here, but only in a sense. I joined nine months ago, but only recently started posting. Also, I used to post on the old Rapture Ready boards, albeit infrequently.
I appreciate Rapture Ready because it is one of the few places where we can discuss difficult Biblical issues without getting sidetracked by foolish statements like "Who are you to judge?" or "If it gets people into the church, then it must be good!" While I don't wish to unfairly judge anyone's heart, I think that most self-described believers on other boards display a disappointingly poor grasp of even basic logical and exegetical principles.
One of my passions is Christian apologetics, and so I publish a series of apologetics teaching videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/grammastola. I also have a blog at http://berean-cogitations.blogspot.com.
Oh, and I'm single, despite years of longing. :) This is partly because most of the Christian singles I know tend to be caught up in ecumenism, entertainment-oriented churches, the seeker-friendly movement, emerging or emergent churches, and the like. Don't get me wrong; I love these folks. Still, I seek someone who will display Christ's love AND avoid all of these deceitful snares. That has made it all the more difficult for me to find a mate.
Anyway, I am pleased to be here and to seek your wisdom!
