How come there isn't a salvation plan for angels, but only for man?

I believe it's because angels have had the privilege of being in the presence of God and seeing Him face to face. Humans, on the other hand, have been placed on planet Earth away from His presence and without so much absolute proof of His existence - therefore in order to believe in Him, it takes a certain measure of faith for us.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Faith is emphasised in the Bible as a crucial component of our salvation. But faith, of itself, could never have saved us - only the blood of Jesus could cover our sin. Nevertheless, without faith God is unable to give us His gift of salvation.

How could angels, therefore, ever exercise faith? The fallen angels have had the privilege of being in God's very presence. They were eternally condemned the moment they rebelled, with no hope of redemption.

We can be thankful that God chose to place us here when He created us, instead of placing us in Heaven from the get-go.....because we still would have sinned, and we'd be just as hopeless as the fallen angels.

Adam walked in the presence of the preincarnate Christ. He saw God face to face. How come he gets salvation and not angels?

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Ps. 8:5

Two different creations. Man formed from the dust of the earth. Angels, no. At this point we are not as powerful-mentally/physically as an angel.

Jesus in comfirmation of his coming in the flesh ie:man!, was also made "lower than the angels"

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.Heb. 2:9

PTL!

'different "beings" created by God Almighty.

Whats PTL mean? And, what was your answer?

PTL means Praise the Lord

Angels(messengers) were not created with souls. They are spirits with free will. "Living Creatures" (sometimes referred to in the Bible) with some "will" with purposes of worshipping God, and ministers of man. (guardians).

There is no salvation plan because Man was made in the image of God and there is no scripture I can think of where angels were.
The salvation plan was for man whom in his free will, sinned and brought death upon himself.

Angels do not die. They are immortal

Our morality is dependent upon our sacrificial lamb, Jesus Christ who bore our sins for us in order for us to have eternal life.

Now.. if you asked me why God decided to have MEN on earth with a soul and a moratity vs angels.. you would be asking me why I don't have a pet hyena in my home instead of my dog.

good enough? or are you going to educate us????:scratch

We have heard about God's love so much, and we have heard so much about Jesus having died for us that we have come to take it for granted. God did not have to save us. He chose to. It is by unmerited, unearned, undeserved favor. In other words, He didn't have to do it. And if He didn't choose to save the angels, that is His choice. The angels don't deserve to be saved anymore than we do.

Good stuff! What you said is part of the reason I started this tread. I think in our minds we've come to assume that the only way for God to be good, was for him remedy the sin situation for us, via Christ. As you said, "God did not have to save us. He choose to. It is by unmerited, unearned, and undeserved favor." Good stuff!! "He has absolute rule in Heaven and in earth. None can stay his hand or say to him, 'why have you done this'"(Dan 4:34-35)?

God is completely God-centered and does everything for His own name's sake. I think we miss that some times.

Thanks for explaining "PTL." That's pretty neat! Yeah, I don't understand why God choose to save man and not angels. I'm amazed by his choice to love the objects of his wrath.
