I poked around this board once, several years ago... didn't post a whole lot, but read many things here. I must say, things seem to have improved here, over the years (or, perhaps, it is only that I have become more mature and can enjoy the posts more now).

I am a 23 year old college dropout (sort of a long story) who's living in the Midwest. I'm planning to go back to college in the future, but I feel that the time to do so has not yet come. I first met God about 11 years ago, and over the years I have gone many places and done many things with Him, heard Him speak and seen Him move. I still feel very young and inexperienced in my walk with God, but I have had some measure of real experience with Him - He has protected me when I was surrounded by evil and hatred, He has strengthened me and given me courage when I was weak and afraid, He has whispered to me and given me wisdom beyond my own when I had need of it. Through these experiences, I have come to see that He can be trusted (though it can still be difficult to actually do so, sometimes).

So, anyways, hi!:wave

Hi luzalmondo! Welcome to RR! :wave

I, too, am 23 (I'll be 24 in October, assuming we're still here.... :rapture). :) I graduated from college two years ago, though when people see me, they guess I'm still in high school and they ask me what grade I'm in. :lol2 As for spiritual maturity, we were all in that place at one point or another. I was saved at 15, but my family didn't go to church and hadn't been since I was five years old. I really knew very little about Jesus, just what my parents told me here and there about Him and about end times. As it is, I've only been going to church regularly for two years.

But the Holy Spirit has helped me through it. I have learned so much in the last four years, that when I look back I cannot believe it. And most of it was through the Holy Spirit, not through any studying of my own. It's funny, but most people in college draw away from God and towards humanism and secularism, as "intelligent" and "rational" people don't need God. However, I drew closer to Him and learned a great deal. So, no worries on your end. The Holy Spirit will guide you. And I will pray that you receive wisdom and knowledge to help you in your spiritual walk. :hug

See you around the boards!

Hi I just joined yesterday myself and I have also just been reading for some time. I had read RR for a couple years now but I guess the Lord wants me here for a reason now. Welcome from a newbie.

Thanks for the welcome, everybody!

Thank you for your prayers, Jennifleur. Your name is very creative! One part Jenny, one part flower. Did you take French in school?

I took French while I was in college. For years, I was pretty boring with my screen names and always used JLT1015 (my initials and birthday). But a while back I decided to be more creative. I love French, because it sounds pretty. And my full name is Jennifer (though most people now just call me Jen), so Jennifleur seemed to flow nicely. :)
