The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America is dead, says Robert A. Pastor, the American University professor who for more than a decade has been a major proponent of building a North American Community.
"The new president will probably discard the SPP," Pastor wrote in an article titled "The Future of North America," published in the current July/August issue of the Council on Foreign Relations magazine Foreign Affairs.

I don't know if I buy that...they might just name it something else to further hide their doings under a different name. Or they'll just turn it into an agenda that they'll push for.

Personally-I don't buy it.
Leaders from all 3 of these NA countries have been working on it under the tables the last few years.(and the media helped them out by keeping quiet about it as well) By the time Congress found out about it, it was too late.
Among the "surprises" that could come this Fall, don't be surprised if you wake up, turn on the news, and all of a sudden the NAU is a reality.

The US wouldn't have willingly put so much money into Mexico being "fixed up" if they didn't have an agenda there. That was a LOT of money! And you'd be surprised at what they've already established between them, but it doesn't make media headlines.

I doubt that if you will turn on your tv and find it is a "done deal" as Canadaians are not interested.
They are satisfied to trade with the US, but they are not interested in a closer relationship. They quote crime, health care, international affaires and standard of living.

Excuse me? Congress has no excuse. The NAU is part of the NAFTA treaty approved by congress. Sorry, but they knew what they were doing. If they didn't read it and voted to approve it anyway, too bad, they are still responsible.

When the time comes Canada will have no choice, just like the Americans that oppose this they have no choice..........well I guess their is one other choice and I am afraid it involves alot of blood. I hope and pray there many up there that will stand with us when and if were still here when the blood flows.

Sorry friend, but I'm pretty sure very few here desire to spill blood over something that is just not likely to happen in today's climate, and if it were, there would be plenty of 'out in the open' discussion.
Despite what some believe, the NAU will not be foisted upon the people without sufficient, legitimate warning of it coming.
If you don't believe that, just look at how Europe is handling it. Its been a couple of decades now, and they actually wanted it. Don't drink the NAU kool-aide.

Yeah I don't believe it either. If anyone will go for it, it will be socialist Obama. If McCain wins it's a coin toss.

I don't know too many people who would be against a NAU. Most people I know are brainwashed by all the global warming baloney and want world peace at any cost. Of course, I live in the northeast, so people are pretty liberal here.:rolleyes
