Hi I'm new to this board. Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on a group called Share International and their claims about the emergence of the World Teacher, or Maitreya.

Hi, welcome to RR! :wave
To answer your question, at first glance it all looks very antichrist-like. I'd have to check into it a little bit more, but I'm guessing this is one of those organizations that we should probably :runhills from...

Thanks. As I was looking through the site I was reminded of what God said in Amos 8:11- Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord God, when I will send a famine on the land--not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.
The language they use-- ie. this idea of a "new era based on sharing and justice..." is kind of how I imagine the times of the antichrist...his ability to capitalize off of people's famine for spiritual sustenance.

This is straight from the false prophet playbook for a one world religion.
People who reject Jesus are still interested enough in spiritual matters to pay attention to what tickles their ears. They will see this as a natural and rational step for them to take with real evidence right in front of them.
After all they have a picture of the minihaha whamdoodle fiddledorfer grand phoobah himself, IN A TENT. Wow, tents are like, so biblical, ya-know.:shocked

I looked the site over and felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time I was looking at it.
People who think this man is Christ aren't reading their Bibles.
