well here Is The way I see It. I'm Romanian Orthodox. There was a time That I couldn't stand evangelisim. Only because of a few people that exploited The christain faith for their own means. earnest angely, joyce myers to name a couple. In fact I live not to far from Joyce myers here In Missouri. and I can Tell you That she has three Multi million dollar homes with an electronic gated entrance. If you are a sevrant Of the Lord You Must be humble. shes No where Near humble even after The IRS went after her. I even waited on her in the reastraunt I was working at, and she had Over 100 dollars worth of food and drink and only left a five dollar tip. she thinks shes high and mighty. It's " ministers" like that that give evangalisim a bad name. Then there are The "born agains" There is a differance between Born again and "Born again" Born agains do Not force Jesus down peoples Throats That do not want to Listen. They pray for the individual. "Born agains" basically say "You have to accept Jesus Or you WILL Go to hell" "ALL You People are sinners You Have To Accept Christ NOW" and Thats Not Right. In Order To help someone find salvation in Christ They Must FIRST Be willing to Listen. Secondly They Need to see that christ dose work In peoples Lives. Thirdly The "Born agains have to relize even after They accept Christ That They are still sinners and always will be sinners. even if they never steal, kill, Lie, Covet Their neighbors wife, ox, or personal belongings, or sin in any way shape or form. THEY are still sinners. They don't relize that they carry the sins of their father, and his father, and his father, and so on and so forth (and if I didn't accept christ and I have My fathers sins running through my veins then I would Be in deep trouble) God said that this is true Read The entire books of Liviticus and deutaromity. People say That was Just For the isrealites. well it aplies to us to. Thats GODS law. and we need to follow it. The only difference is That w don't need to sacrafice unmarked Male lambs, calfs, and doves. Our sins are forgivin Though Christ. But we still need to follow Gods law. If The old testament didn't exsist Nobody would be a sinner and there wouldn't be a need for Christ. But I'm Glad That It dose exist. Because Life with christ is absolutly wonderfull. if its this wonderful now just thing what Heaven will be. Christ is a Kind Caring person and accepts EVERYONE. No Matter What. and we should be the same way. True people in christ are accepting of ALL walks of life. No matter what Nationality, color, sins, creed, sexual orientation, Or religion. Christ would have. Hey He ate with Tax collectors, sinners, and prostitutes. In Luke 5:30-32 But the pharasees and the teachers of the law who belonged to To their sect complained to his disciples. " why do you eat withtax collectors and sinners" Jesus answered them" Is it Not The healthy that need a doctor But The sick I have not come to call the rightious But The sinners to repentance." These verses basicaly in a round about way say accept all people. You should learn about other peoples customs and religion. Talk with these people Point out differances and simmilarities In Religion. then when they ask about The christian faith Then tell them that We accept Jesus as Our lord and savior. and beleived that he died on the cross for our sins. if they ask More questions. Take them by the hand and answer them. Offer them to take them to church so they get a first hand experience of the lord. if they ask more questions answer them. The more they ask the more they are going to be willing to accept Jesus. NEVER start a conversation with "ARE YOU SAVED" that scares people away. The lord dosen't want People to be scared and run. He wants his followers to be compationate, loving, and show their love of their religion. if the person you are trying to save says no I don't want to be saved an runs. You at Least Got The lord in his mind. He will ask him into his heart on his terms when he is ready. the lord knows who is going to be saved and who isn't. Thats not our judgement. The only thing we can do is show them christ In a loving compationat way. and NOT BY FORCE.
