I like it!!

For years, I've been telling my students that we should start a language removing all vowels. Think of how efficient that would be. Then they screw around figuring out what their names would be.

I make out fine. MGN is still Megan

My son is still CNNR (Connor)
and my husband is still RCK (Rick)


But my daughter HATES this--- she becomes MR (Maura)

The worst was a girl that I called MRTT for a long time because it teased her so much. Her real name? Marietta!! Talk about a change!

I don't really believe this, but it's something for the smarter kids to play with at the last second before the bell rings! :hat
