I understand that after the gog/magog war that Israel will burn weapons for 7 years. As a gun collector, I am see more and more tactical plastic synthetic stocks and less and less wood. Do they still use wood stocks for middle eastern/Russian weapons. I do know AK-47s have wood stocks but i'mn ot sure how plentiful they are over there. Does anyone have any insight into this? :wave

I remember reading years ago that the Russians use a compressed wood product known as Lignostone (sorry, if this is wrong but what I remember) for the wood parts on their weapons. This product reportedly burns very hot and for an extended period of time. Also, I don't know, but I would think that synthetic stocks , made from petroleum based products would also be very flammable.

I am curious to see if anyone else is thinking what I'm thinking regarding Israel, Iran and the Ezekiel 38 battle. Right now looks to be on the brink of taking out Iran's nuclear sites with a military strike. If Israel does attack Iran I do not see America standing with Israel, especially with the President we have right now. So if the U.S. does not stand with Israel on taking out Iran's nuclear sites it stands to reason that we will not have Israel's back if Russia, Lebanon, Hezbollah and whoever else decide to attack Israel in retaliation, (using Iran as a reason to attack Israel). I'm just wondering if anyone else see's this coming confrontation as the attack on Israel described in Ezekiel 38? Could Israel's possible coming attack on Iran be the hook that God uses to draw the armies of the north to attack Israel? I'm not predicting anything, I am just curious if anyone else is coming to the same conclusion that I am.

I've been thinking along similar lines. Russia has made a point of supporting Iran and Syria. With Putin in power now (or soon to be in office), I expect them to be much more aggressive about their support for them.

He very well might do that if Israel waits that long, but with what is going on in Iran I don't think Israel has that long to wait.
