A lot of talk and no action. When the lead starts flying then I'll get excited, until then this is all a dog and pony show.

I believe that a veto by Obama would actually delay things. I say this because when it all finally comes down, Israel is alone (completely). A veto by Obama is more or less saying that the US is obligated to aid militarily, should it come to that, which would cause the other side to be more cautious about an all out attack. This is just my opinion of course. I could be totally wrong. It wouldn't be the first time...hahaha but,

I think that a non-veto (in other words, a vote for statehood) by Obama would exponentially speed things up to put Israel by themselves. Which, of course, moves us further along the prophetic timeline than a veto would. Just my thoughts.

I think you are correct here, many people forget that political posturing is the name of the game in the M.E., just as here in the U.S., or elsewhere for that matter. Of course trouble will erupt, that is the Moslem m.o. Still, there could be many more ups and downs in the M.E. before the end of the age.

The precedent of the "Arab Spring" doesn't really apply to the palis. In all the other instances, the insurrections were initiated, or at least sustained, by citizens of sovereign nations. The palis have no nation - yet. The other Arabs, as demonstrated by Jordan's King Abdullah, still treat the palis like they belong on the bottom of the dung heap. Oh, the poor pali plight will probably be a catalyst to war but it won't be because of the empathy and allegiance of their Islamic brethren. Rather, the palis will contiinue in the role of "useful idiots" to give a pretext to the heathens for annihilating the Jews and their state.

That sizes it up pretty well.
