A lot has been going on in my life...but through it all God has blessed me in so many ways...

1) My husband and I started counseling after a short time ago he came to me and shared some difficult things. This was really rough on our marriage and the fear was that he was going to move out. Counseling has been incredible. He was not very open to it at first. Things have been moving at a snail's pace but it brings so much joy to my heart that he is trying so hard. We've both been very open about things we did wrong and how we need to improve. Please continue to pray about this because things are going very well and we are going to continue to go to counseling.

2) The Lord blessed us financially in a way we weren't expecting. It has been incredible. In three years we will have no debt outside of our mortgage. This being said, if the Lord does not return first we are considering moving our family to Ireland to serve through missions that are doing church plants there. If it were not for the counseling we are receiving, my husband NEVER would have considered this.

But money does not buy happiness. We have been reaching out to friends around us who have yet to know the hope and peace of Christ. This weighs heavy on my heart. There are definitely times we have to let go, and with two in particular we are having to let go...just hoping we can be a good witness to the others and not lose them.

Thank you for your prayers!

Mopsie - I will be praying for you and your husband. I have read some of your posts and I know you are really 'Fired Up' for the Lord.
It's like the Lord has us go through some things to get us to the place he wants us to be.
I know that when I first believed - 'the light came on' and life had meaning - the whole reason for life is to Know Jesus as Saviour and Lord - then after we are saved What is the Purpose of Life then?
I believe it is to serve God and help to do his Will on this earth. Serving Him brings meaning to life for the follower of Jesus.
God Bless you as you 'Go in to All the World and Preach the Gospel'

Amen! I was one of those who for the longest time believed simply professing faith was enough.

:ohno

Boy did God ever work to correct me! And I needed it.

We all have different gifts and that is something I needed to learn too. But in each way that we serve, regardless of the difference - we still make an impact even if it is behind the scenes; it still has an outcome!

God is so good. I spent some needed time in prayer this morning. Still having a hard time in regards to losing so many friends, but this has meant hubby and I have had to lean that much harder on each other. God truly works all things for good.

Mopsie, I can't tell you how much it does my heart good to hear that your hubby is not only going to counselling, but is working hard at it. This is a wonderful answer to my prayers, as well as the prayers of others. I am rejoicing with you! I will continue to pray that the Lord will strengthen and heal your marriage, and bless you in every way in the future. :yeah :pray
