Book I - Apocalypse Dawn
Book II - Apocalypse Crucible
Book III - Apocalypse Burning

I really liked these books. Very action oriented and I especially liked them because the two main characters are a husband and wife from Ft. Benning, GA. and it is set in Columbus, GA and in Turkey.

Main character is a Ranger named "Goose".....last name is Gander thus the "Goose" moniker. He's on the Turkey and Syrian border. Massive build up of Syrian troops. Rapture happens. Syrians invade. He struggles with the fact that he believes in God but was not Raptured. Also, his best buddy was as were about a third of his Rangers.

Meanwhile his wife is on base at Benning. Their five year old son gets Raptured. The wife "Meagan Gander" is a counselor to kids and teens. She experiences the Rapture in a weird way.....a boy is threatening to jump off a building because his dad beats him and he thinks he's a jinx. He accidentally falls and she lunges and grabs him but can't hold on. The boy falls but disappears on the way down.

Meanwhile her 17 year old son from her first marriage is causing her trouble.

Then there's a Navy chaplain who realizes what's happened.

Lot's of military action and Odom researched the base and Columbus, GA very well. I recognized many of the areas he described including some restaurants etc.

Based on the way the third book ended there should be more in this series.
