Perhaps could there be a "widget" for new postings that arrive as some like to stay abreast of the conversations in the forums. I know that there is a free widget building kit at Yahoo Widgets and it is multi-platform (mac and Windows) Just a thought.

Understood, as that is how I always do. But, this is a means by which you don't have to open a new tab (in Firefox) or window of your browser just to read the newest posts in RR. The use of these widgets is to put information that you want to be available at a glance without using the resources of your internet browser and to keep abreast of whats going on. Just an idea.

You are referring to a portal
It would change the front page of our forum and we don't want to do that yet.

Gotcha! I did find a widget that works for V Bulletin sites but creates an error while trying to log into this one. Is RR a V Bulletin forum still? I know it was in the past.
